The NSW Chief Health Officer confirmed last Friday 24th April that some cosmetic injectable treatments may be performed from this week onwards, but only under strict guidelines, and only when a Doctor is on the premises.
Medispas cannot be reopened yet, so Infinity Skin Clinic Mosman is still closed, and Laser and Energy Device treatments are unable to be performed.
I have still been performing skin cancer removal and reconstructive procedures, but as I am currently not permitted to perform cosmetic plastic surgery operations, I have the time to perform Botox treatments myself, in my medical rooms down the corridor from Infinity Skin Clinic Mosman (on the same level). At this stage dermal fillers cannot be injected near the mouth and nose, quite understandably, so I will only be injecting Botox.
We are all aware of following strict guidelines and I want to reassure you that I take your health and safety very seriously.
My rooms were designed to medical standards and are able to be meticulously cleaned. When you arrive you will be asked about possible COVID-19 symptoms, asked to use hand sanitiser and reminded not to touch your face. My waiting area is extremely large leaving plenty of space while you wait, and patients will be booked well apart so that relatively few people will be around and social distancing can be maintained. Please do not bring a friend or children to the appointment to minimise the number of people present.
My consulting room and procedure room are also spacious. I will wear a surgical mask for the procedure, as well as a single-use disposable apron, which are changed after every patient.
All surfaces and equipment will be cleaned according to Department of Health guidelines after every patient
Please do not attend any appointment
If you have any cold or flu-like symptoms such as a cough, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath, with or without a fever, or if you are in isolation because you have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
To all our valued Infinity Skin clients,
In light of the Federal Government announcement on COVID-19 yesterday, Infinity Skin Clinic Mosman will sadly temporarily close our doors for the first time in 15 years. The health and well-being of our clients, staff and community is our top priority and we believe it is the best decision to help slow the spread in the community. The closure is effective immediately as of today 25th March 2019.
All future appointments have been cancelled through till the end of April 2019 pending further notice. If we have not contacted you please email firstname.lastname@example.org so we can reschedule your appointment to a later date. After this time we will communicate all changes or extensions to this timeline with you in light of current Federal Government advice. Stay updated by visiting our social media page or updates on our website.
This is an uncertain time for everyone, and our thoughts are with our clients, team members, and entire community.
Dr Charles Cope and his wife, Elizabeth, a GP, are planning to work in whatever way they can to help the community. Elizabeth has volunteered to work in a respiratory clinic and Charles will continue to care for his skin cancer patients and is looking at how else he can serve the community with medical care.
Keep safe, stay healthy and stay positive. We are all in this together.
Thank you for your understanding and trusting in our incredible Team for all your skin and anti-ageing needs.
We look forward to welcoming you back at the clinic once this situation is over.
The team at Infinity Skin Clinic Mosman
