The Laser Facial is very popular in Asia. It’s also one of the most popular facials at Infinity Skin. It is a non-invasive, gentle treatment that uses a Q-switched Nd-Yag Laser paired with a medical-grade carbon serum. The serum maximises the laser’s capability for the destruction of debris clogging the pores. It’s also useful for treating minor skin imperfections.
The Carbon Laser Facial may be suitable for people with enlarged pores or acne, which originate from the outer skin layer. Many people choose to have a single session before a big event or night out.
The treatment starts by applying the carbon serum to the face, which is absorbed into the pores. Laser light waves are then applied to the skin, which activates the serum and shatters it into smaller particles. These particles are what clean the upper layer of skin. Eye protection is worn throughout the treatment to avoid damage.
Laser Facial Capabilities
A cleaner and clearer complexion is a common desire for patients. Our patients may see changes to their complexion after one treatment; however, the results are cumulative and dependent on the individual patient. A series of six to ten sessions is usually recommended.

You can expect to feel a warm, slightly prickly feeling in the treatment area, but overall, Laser Facials are not painful. Patients are free to resume their usual activities directly after their session at Infinity Skin.
It’s important to keep your skin protected and free of sun damage before and after your session. Using a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 on a daily basis is a must. We can also assist you with a tailored medical-grade skincare regimen.
Laser Facials are designed to be gentle and non-invasive. However, there may be some mild side effects. Particularly if you will be pairing your facial with other treatments, your skin therapist will take you through the potential risks and side effects.
