Your general skin health will start to improve from the first treatment. Typically three to four treatments spaced two to three weeks apart achieves dramatic results.
Your skin type and skin condition will determine the degree of improvement in your condition. Most patients see some improvement after the first treatment. You will notice a improvement in general skin tone & texture. IPL treatment can also help to shrink large pores, reduce the appearance of some acne scars, lighten pigmentation and calm down the look of redness.
While IPL is extremely effective and long lasting, like other light based treatments its results may not be permanent. To maintain the results, both on the surface and in the deeper layers of your skin follow up treatments approximately every 3-6 months are recommended. You will be given instructions to help maintain and maximise the benefits of your treatment.
