Information
Many people focus their attention on looking after their face, but the neck and décolletage are equally important to protect and treat.
At Infinity Skin Clinic, we use one of two different technologies to provide neck laser treatment solutions specific to different needs: addressing skin textural issues and loose skin.
For Skin Texture: Fractional Laser
If you would like to improve the texture of the skin on your neck, we recommend our Fractional Laser (Mosman & Surry Hills) treatment. This is particularly suitable for skin that has been damaged through sun exposure or has an uneven skin tone due to age.
Fractional laser treatments harness your body’s own potential to heal itself. You may see changes within a few days, but your skin will likely continue to renew itself a month or so after your last treatment. For this reason, repeat treatments should be spaced several weeks apart.
Skin Tightening: Light-Based & Ultrasound Treatments
Light-based (Mosman) and ultrasound HIFU (Surry Hills) treatments are non-surgical, non-invasive face and neck cosmetic treatment that aids in enhancing the appearance of the skin. Light-based treatment utilises infrared light technology, and ultrasound treatment uses Micro-Focused Ultrasound energy (HIFU treatment) to support the skin.
Light and ultrasound HIFU treatments are associated with less pain compared to other skin tightening treatments, allowing the treatment to be performed in 30 minutes in a lunchtime break, with no required downtime. Side effects include redness for a few hours*.
Radiofrequency (RF)
Radiofrequency treatment is a chemical-free treatment that helps support your skin’s structures. When combined with radiofrequency and LED, it becomes a treatment for skin laxity on the face, neck and body. After RF Treatment, it is best to allow two to three days before resuming work and your normal activities. Naturally, in all cases, we recommend protecting your neck by using appropriate UV sunscreens and hydrating skin care.
